Dr. Dennis Adu-Gyasi, PhD, MSc.


Dr. Adu-Gyasi is a consultant, LEDing MedLab. A leading researcher at the Kintampo Health Research Centre, Ghana; he holds a PhD in Immunology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST), as well as a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Infectious Disease from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, UK. Dr. Adu-Gyamfi has also earned various certifications in infectious disease and immunology from institutions such as: University of Twente-ITC, Netherlands; Griffith University, Australia; and the University of Washington.

In addition to his academic accomplishments, Dr. Adu-Gyamfi has over 14 years’ experience serving as a laboratory scientist, in addition to his tenures on technical committees including: Review of National Guidelines for Laboratory Diagnosis of Malaria in Ghana and Standard Operating Procedures of the National Malaria Control Programme; and the Health Systems Research module development for the District Health Systems Operations Programme (DISHOP), Ghana Health Service and Ministry of Health. Dr. Adu-Gyasi is a fellow of the West Africa Postgraduate College of Medical Laboratory Science and the Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists; as well as a professional member of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene; Global Health Council; American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC); and International Society of Infectious Diseases, to name a few. His research is published in reputable academic outlets.
